Castectomy-Graphic Photos!

We left for PCMC shortly after that fantastic storm hit this afternoon (why do we have to keep driving in storms for Allison's casts?). But we made it after 1 1/2 hours.

Allison was very scared that it was going to hurt. Her feet are tender and smell divine (really, we bathed her). She's thinking she can't walk (again), but I'm confident she'll be up and about in no time. Sometimes it's hard to know what is real and what is drama queen at our house. She's sure been a tough cookie through all this.

Ouch! That last picture makes me so sad! Is she walking yet?

Those cast saws are pretty scary. I've never had to have one used on me, but hated having to help the Dr's cut off the pt's. She is pretty brave.

So glad she's on the road to recovery. Send me your email and I'll send you an invite to my blog.

Yikes! That foot looks like it still hurts! She is really brave. So what's next - is there some sort of therapy for her foot too?

Such a brave little woman!!! How is she getting around? Is she having physical therapy? What's next? Do you love the tons of questions??? Just curious/fascinated about this entire process.
