I have to recommend Build-a-Bear for birthday parties. The price is quite reasonable for what you get (save your coupons) and I hardly did a thing! Unless you count making cupcakes as a thing. Oh, wait...my mother-in-law did that while I ran errands without kids. I guess I did do nothing. It was fantastic.
Celeste, of course, hammed it up Tuesday night during her party. And all day Wednesday on her birthday. Thursday morning found her sulking to the bus stop because her birthday was over. But on Friday Grandma checked her out of school and spent 5 hours buying her the whole darn mall. How will we top this next year?
